Sex is Dumbing Down America

My second article on Searchwarp was "Grandma is 40, Mama is 27, son is 14 ". It got more attention than I needed. The wrong kind! It took days for some "off shore" ill reputes to take the article and use it in a manner I did not like. I faxed the big search engine and asked them to remove my writing from these "animals". Nothing happened until a pal suggested I write the scum-bums. I did. They replied in part English horribly and in the Cyrillic alphabet. Whew.......after about a week they removed their entire site.

I wrote that article from observation.

Working on a civic project, I've been given statistics for our area amassed by the State.

Horror of horrors, things are worse than my previous observations. In the list of teen births to girls fifteen to nineteen and have stayed in school and graduated would make many weep for the babies. The best of the numbers is one area with thirteen new moms and ten finished school. The worst area has 101 new moms and forty-eight finished school.

Our records do not show multiple births just the number of new mothers. The entire lost totals almost 700 and about sixty per cent of them finishing high school.

Who are the fathers of all these babies? Why has not the State grabbed these males and charged them with statutory rape? It is easy to check those deemed "sex offenders" in our communities via the State's search engine. All listed are well above forty years of age. "Dirty old men" and one "dirty old woman".

Generations back, the "dirty old women" were called by other names and initiated the pubescent boys into manhood. I'm not saying that practice was morally right,

Will the State ever grab these baby producers and charge them properly as in statutory rape? When will the State grab these ne'er do wells out of our beautiful parks and the municipal parking lots and put them to work. There are times when personal freedoms must be waived for the betterment of the community. Those circling vultures need to be put to work on public projects.

Namely, I'm tired of the males screwing and the taxpayers getting screwed nine months later!

Back to dumbing down America. The moms will probably never finish school. Their chances of having another baby within two years is frightening. These babies will copy their mom's behavior.

We, Americans can not let the babies starve, so the moms are on food stamps now in the form of a debit card. Some of these young moms have no sense of propriety.

A friend owns a consignment, new and used store. One of the locals was in her store and threw a hissy fit that she would not take her food stamp debit card to pay for a "gameboy". My friend explained to her that the card was for food or her baby and herself. Young "Miss Hotbody" left in a huff cussing my friend.

The moms get to live in public housing with their babies. The vultures move in too.

Tears were shed this year. A mom and her baby died in a fire in a public housing unit. The baby's daddy died also that night. The daddy was married and was from a different county.

The obituaries were very sad. The baby had it's mother's name, not the father's.

The father's obituary listed his legal family. Now, forever, his young children will know how their daddy died and they had a half sibling.

Senior citizens who may need assistance in their waning years are having our limited resources siphoned by these selfish baby makers. The seniors could or should be in the housing units. Granny won't be making babies in her unit!

Recently the television was on for background noise. A news bulletin alarm sounded. A post office had been robbed. Can we say stupid? The robbers were on tape in color! They must not have gotten much because when I went to my post office a couple days later I saw the wanted poster on the door. They offered so little, I never would have looked for the robbers! Gasoline costs would have wiped out the reward.

Days later, I was paying attention to the evening news and it was announced that the post office robbers had been caught.

My jaw dropped. I saw one of my old students. When I had a chance to teach him, he did not want to learn. He was cute and he knew it. He was my class peacock. All the "Miss Hotbodies" were no help. They just fed his ego.

His participating in this caper will get him Federal time. His peacock attitude may make him a peahen before he is released.

In one of my English classes, I asked all the students to project themselves fifteen years and write about their lives. No one could be teachers, lawyers or doctors. I wanted them to think.

I do not recall if "Mr. Peacock" ever finished his paper.

Of all the papers I got back was one by a girl who saw herself, "divorced, with three children and being a waitress." At least she had bothered to get married in order to get a divorce. There is nothing wrong with a career of being a food server. Many food servers make more money than teachers and when their shift is over, they don't have papers to take home to correct.

Honestly, with students watching so much television, I was expecting exotic professions. When the viewers only watch dance and music shows; soap opera type shows; and adult entertainment how can we expect the students to aim for the stars?

Somewhere along the way, their parents have failed to inculcate a better life and big ideas in their children.

Teachers don't have the freedom to cause the pupils to dream as we were encouraged years ago.

One teacher congratulated a student on fine work and in front of the class patted her on her back. The pupil filed charges of sexual harassment on the teacher for patting her on the back.

Yes, sex is dumbing down America.

Good article! Sex sells, and the entire world is all about money, isn't it? Some tough times are coming. These kinds of shallow values always lead to decline.

Thanks for taking time to read my article. It is not money. It is a lack of morals and upbringing. The parents today condone the me, me, me or mine, mine, mine.

It does take a village to raise a child. In my youth, every parent or grandparent in the neighborhood was the same to every child. All had the others' telephone numbers. Our little feet could not out run the telephone line to our respectives homes.
