Not a chance, I consider my "flaw" an asset. I am hardheaded!
I do not take a "No" from a person who does not have the authority to give me a, "Yes".
does not know me, my history, education or my God-given talents.
The only person that keeps me slowed down is my Ortho. I'm more
afraid of him than the chance of going to Hell. He holds a scapel.
I know he has my best health in mind. He has learned I will sort his
orders. I will not hurt myself being hardheaded.
Forever, I'll be thankful for have Dr. Dullea for my physics teacher
in high school. We had only seven girls in the class. Word was
physics is a tough class and Dr. Dullea is a taskmaster.
Dr. Dullea was a teddy bear. He was soft spoken and enunciated each
word as he spoke. He was never misunderstood.
Each of us girls had our own work station. With such a small class
we all got attention and there was no chance to goof off.
I had a blast in that class. I loved being there. We played with water,
heat, ice, wheels, levers, bars, and even mercury before it became
outlawed. None of us ever got hurt by it because Dr. Dullea made
sure we understood every chemical we had in the lab. With all
at our hands we built about anything imaginable including a roller
coaster and cars that rode on it.
Years ago I was given a furniture moving dolley for a birthday present from
a dear friend. Her husband thought we were nuts. I loved getting it.
I thought of Dr. Dullea and my physics class. When one pays attention and
learns how to move an item, no matter the size, the process is physics.
Our modern world's civil engineers and draftsmen plus architects must know
physics.
I'll never be the dumbest squirrel in the city park because I paid attention in
physics class and my Ortho will never know how much I do and do not expend
enough energy to ever hurt myself. I'll always be hardheaded because that is
who I am.
